Dr. John Ramsay and Friends
The PRESIDENTS BALL will feature dances and presidential vignettes by Dr. John Ramsay. This will be a dress-up Ball - vintage attire admired but not required. Choose your own vintage!
Dr. Ramsay is a noted dance teacher and dance historian. For this evening's enjoyment, he has put together a snapshot of historical dances done by, for, or about presidents of the United States. From "George Washington's Favorite Cotillion" to a surprise Special Dance for President Obama, the evening will trace a history of American folk dancing.

* A note on additional contributions. The Monday Club is a comfortable, pleasant venue, with space enough to dance English Country Dancing in the wide manner that makes it the most fun. To help keep the general cost of admission low and yet meet our costs, we need either 50 attendees, or additional sources of income. If you are in a position to pay a bit more for your evening's entertainment, we will be most grateful if you would make an additional contribution.
